No one believes how many birds come to my feeder or to the ground seed I throw out – there have been as many as 50-60 mourning doves, over 100 sparrows (I lost count after 100) or at least 3 pairs of cardinals. All this is in front of our balcony in the suburbs! The only way I could take these pictures was to stand behind our Christmas Tree (Yes it is still up) and you can’t see the rest of the balcony with as many as or more birds! They fight with the squirrels for the sunflower seeds. Temperature was 9 degrees and it was still snowing.
