Description

The sunset colored this Falcon in golden light! Happy to say it was a very “birdie” day November 30th, one of my FeederWatch days. While I was photographing my other birds, it was thrilling to spot this Merlin flying in three big circles, then landing in our Cottonwood tree each time! A Blue Jay and a Northern Flicker were squawking loudly, mercilessly harassing the poor Merlin, who finally gave up any chance of dinner in THEIR yard, flying away.
