They swoop in like a windstorm, stay a few days, eat a few pounds of suet, then, one day, they’re gone!
Warblers, Waxwings, Wrens & Kinglets
Beautiful bird. I’ve become acquainted with them only as Yellow-rumped Warblers (Setophaga coronata). Unfortunately, they very rarely make an appearance in my yard, usually in winter.
Hi,Bob! It’s been quite the debate around here and at the bird store. They areall Yellow-rumped warblers, but there is the Myrtle and Audubon’s; the male Myrtle has a white throat, Audubon’s has a yellow throat, and more black on the breast, and the male Myrtle has those wicked white eye patches that make them look a little angry! There are a few other differences, and the female are different, too.
