I had noticed some activity in one of our Christmas trees - it appeared that a pair of Mourning doves were preparing a nest! Understanding that Mourning doves often nest low or near the ground, it did not surprise me to find this nest at eye-level. From a distance, with my zoon, I captured this image. Later, when I mowed my lawn, I left a wide circle around this tree undisturbed!
