The cardinals took a break from me for a few weeks and now they are back! I have had 3 visits every day for the past 3 days. Mr. Cardinal, Mrs. Cardinal, and their daughter. (Mrs. Cardinal now seems to hate her daughter now that she’s an adult, any idea why?)

Hello Sheila, thanks for reaching out! Northern Cardinals may come to feeders that offer sunflower seeds, milo, safflower, cracked corn, and more. You can find out on our Common Feeder Birds page here, which details favorite feeder foods of almost 200 feeder birds.
My cardinals enjoy safflower, millet, milo, sunflower, snack stack, and sometimes peanuts.
