Description

This shot was gotten in Jackson County KY on a recent
hike into a fairly remote area of the Daniel Boone National
Forest. My main target this day were the lovely wildflowers
that are really popping. Lucky for me I also packed my
telephoto lens and got several warbler shots on one of my
rest stops. This little fella was also taking a break at the time
from feeding on the copious insects that were buzzing around the
Hemlock trees. Its nice to see the arrival of the neo-tropical
birds – a sure sign spring is finally here.
