Description

We noticed one nuthatch first. It was flitting from tree to tree. Then it went to the tree where another nuthatch was waiting. That nuthatch offered the visitor a snack. Nuthatches hide food in the tree bark and hen go back for it when needed. It is Spring and the mates share their food. Hormone driven charity.

Nuthatch Mating Ritual
