Description

What is this type of bird? It had greyish, dark blue, and even some bronze tones in its plumage. It spent quite a bit of time at our finch feeder until it was displaced by the gold finch in the last photo. I have not seen one like it prior to today.

The mystery bird is a non-breeding male American Goldfinch (same type of bird in the last photo) He only looked different because of the lighting.
