Description

I put out peanuts for the Blue jays and before long this nuthatch found them. This bird kept coming back for more peanuts. He would take them to a tree about 20 feet away and stick it into the bark and then come back for another peanut.

This nuthatch was storing peanuts in the bark of a nearby tree for winter.
