This Pileated Woodpecker has spent the long winter of 2014/15 in my area along the St. Mary’s River on St. Joseph Island in Northern Ontario. He is very polite and lets the nuthatches have their feed first. See him almost everyday at the suet feeders or during my walk with the dog in the Cedar Bush.
