Description

It’s a treat but not unusual for us to see small flocks of evening grossbeeks. They’re easily identifiable as male versus female and often show up in pairs but none have appeared as striking as this one, nor solitary. It certainly caught us by surprise, popping-in for a bite several times throughout the morning until early afternoon.

Possibly Albino/Piebald Evening Grossbeek

Ava Johnson says:

Hi, this is indeed a leucistic/piebald Evening Grosbeak. You can tell that it is leucistic instead of albino because of the black on its wings. A truly albino bird won’t have any black.
Hope this helped!
