Description

This shot was actually captured in Anderson County KY. Many of my shots are gotten from a boat
and this is one of them (kudos to my dad for positioning the boat!). There were several of these
birds working the same tree and singing their little hearts out. Being that I had not captured what I consider a ‘printable/publishable’ shot of this specie, I was eager to hopefully get a decent close up of this specie. That being said, I managed to capture several short sequences of these birds at close range before
they went much higher in the canopy. After downloading the photos, I was increasingly disappointed with the quality of each successive shot until the very last shot on the very last sequence. This picture is that very last shot on that sequence. It is made even more personally rewarding in the fact I have only rarely observed these birds in central KY and not at close range until these captures.
