First seeing red-breasted nuthatches. Our feeder is by a large maple. The nuthatch would land on the tree, drop to the ground, fly up to a seed cone feeder (see picture) and back up to the tree. We now have white-breasted, brown-headed, and red-breasted nuthatches at the feeder.
