For three days he came and he ate. Morning till night and felt right at home. But it’s been two days of no shows and the snack bar should have kept him in sight if still around. Come back and visit again my new friend. This is what “birding” is all about!
Woodpeckers & Sapsuckers
2014 & 15 winters gave up “Red” the first-a rare Red-bellied Woodpecker. He never showed up this last winter and missed him dearly but this is why it’s important for us birders to document all the new faces that move through. As both these Woodpeckers are not suppose to come this far north at all. Times are a changing though for sure.
