relates to my comment about an injured Red-winged Blackbird in my submission for today 2/26/23 – appears the poor bird was either injured – maybe in a fight – or is suffering some sort of illness – pics limited in size for ease of uploading and mailing but I could send a full res image if this is not enough detail to blow up to check out

Poor little guy, he appears to have been in a fight. His eyes are fine. He looks healthy and should heal soon.
