Occasionally, I will see a yellow- or blue-morph Lovebird. On this day, there was a blue-morph feeding with the other Rosy-faced Lovebirds. Lovebirds in Phoenix are descended from escaped captives from the 1980s and are successfully breeding and increasing in numbers. They are very acrobatic and vocal and I enjoy watching them on my feeders!
