Janice Davis says:

Great group of pictures Bob. Of course I love your Bluebirds, but this Hummingbird pose is so unlike most when on the feeder. Really nice!

Texas Bird Family says:

I’ve only had 3 hummers all year, I read it was due to a wetter winter which causes there to be more flowers so they aren’t going to feeders as much.

Janice Davis says:

I am willing to believe that because -for the first time ever I have lots of pollinator plants in my yard– and no activity at my humming bird feeder.

Texas Bird Family says:

I had a male Black-chin (Rare for right now!) and a female Ruby-throat feeding from a red zinnia, only 3 hummers in the whole year at the feeder. Last year we had what seemed like around 20 to 30 hummers.
