Sharp-Shinned Hawk – All Is Quiet Around The Feeders!

Whenever my feeders are unoccupied, I know there's got to be a reason - sometimes it's me and my dog lumbering outside doing yard work but other times, it's this little one - barely bigger than a Mourning Dove, but the feeders empty out when our local Sharp-Shinned Hawk is hunting. Nature's beautiful, but one of the many things I'm learning through this project is that the activity in my own back yard often rivals the drama of any National Geographic video!
