Always exciting to see an owl! I was surprised to see a Shorty still around on 3/3 while driving through the Marsh at Blackwater NWR. And what a treat to see one in such good light! Usually it’s so dark I can’t get a good shot – I felt so lucky this time to have a bright, sunny morning view of this gorgeous owl.
