The rain fell continuously during the night and continued until late afternoon the following day. Mama and Papa Eastern Bluebird parents struggled to feed their 5 young in one of my Gilwood nest boxes. The young were large, hungry and due to fledge in 6-7 days, so the parents supplemented with suet crumbles all through the rainy day.
