Description

We drove down the road, stopping now and then to write down each species we see. I stopped suddenly, as a flash of Summer-red caught my eye. Sure enough, a beautiful Summer Tanager sat perched on a dead tree snag. It’s such a beautiful bird, and I never get tired of seeing them shine.
