Description

We had been away for 3 weeks. Friends who had been checking our feeders said there hadn’t been a lot of birds around; not a lot of feed was consumed. The day after our return, we saw this fellow land right by some of our hanging feeders. And later, almost right below this perch, we spotted a few tiny feathers that shouldn’t have been shed…
The next day we saw him do a ‘flyby’ higher overhead. Hopefully he saw we were home and will move on for some field mice or something!
