While working in our yard this week, I was surprised to look up and see this beautiful Turkey Vulture resting on a telephone pole. It didn’t stay long and soon went back to gliding effortlessly on the unseen thermal currents in and around our neighborhood!

Often seen soaring marvelously above our neighborhood, this huge Turkey Vulture decided our yard was a good place to rest and have a look!
