Description

One of my Bluebird nest boxes needed repair, but when I opened it up to fix it, there was a clutch of Tree Swallow nestlings inside. So I closed the box again and did a quick fix, then let nature take it’s course.

Sweet photo. You seem to have a wide variety of birds and your photos are wonderful.

Bob Vuxinic says:

I have a number of nesting boxes designed for Eastern Bluebirds, and have found that every year there is a sequence of the birds that use them, starting with the Bluebirds, followed by the Tree Swallows, then the House Wrens; and sometimes even followed by the Bluebirds raising a second clutch of eggs.
