Description

I’ve come a long way on my feeder setup since this photo at the beginning of this season: https://feederwatch.org/community/participant-photo/feeder-setup/.
Bird activity has massively increased too. My first several counts were mostly very low numbers of titmice, chickadees, and nuthatches. Now, as I write this, I have a red bellied woodpecker hanging off the suet feeder, a small flock of pine siskins fighting over the nyjer and peanut chip feeders, a couple titmice and chickadees trying to get to the peanut chips around the siskins, a white breasted nuthatch hammering open a sunflower seed, a squirrel chowing down at the squirrel feeder, a male/female pair of house finches at a sunflower seed feeder, a Carolina wren foraging on the ground with over a dozen juncos and siskins, a couple of siskins at the birdbath, a red breasted nuthatch on the upside down suet feeder… and this was all in the span of just a couple minutes. Pretty awesome!!

I didn’t realize the caption would cover up the photo, but unfortunately I can’t edit it now that I’ve submitted it 🙁
