A white female Grosbeak. She is all white with a little bit of light yellow behind her head. Kirkfield ON CANADA
Hi, this is called leucism. It’s a condition where an animal has a partial loss of pigments resulting in white or lighter colored feathers (in the case of a bird).
I agree. She is leucistic.
I have one at my feeder in Virgil New York. Rt392 near Greek Peak Ski Resort.
