A snapshot taken to verify a couple of white-winged dove in southwest Oklahoma. I’ve never seen these here before and didn’t know what they were until I used the picture to look them up.

I have lived in OK 30 years. I have seen the white winged twice. Once, many years ago and i found one dead in my yard. It had been attacked by something. Do squirrels ever attack kill birds?

Karen S. Bassett says:

We have four at our feeders near Lake Overholser in northwest Oklahoma City. They have been here about a week.

Bob Vavricka says:

I have several visiting a feeder in Ada, OK
