I noticed this small bird feeding in a hyperactive manner in my apple tree. With the binoculars I could see the small thin black bill and the eyering that are distinctive of Ruby-crowned Kinglets. It returned to the apple tree 2 more times and I was able to get a photo on its last visit. An unexpected surprise!
