Description

This Dark-eyed Junco seems to have a wing problem, a feather hanging from its wing. It doesn’t seem to hinder its flight, at least not for the short distances I see it fly in my yard, but does seem to affect its hopping ability, probably because the feather is trailing on the ground. This junco was in my yard and at the feeders for a few days, but I haven’t seen it in the last 3 or 4 days.
