Description

This adult Cooper’s Hawk visits my yard at intervals because with all my feeders and birdbath there is a lot of activity all day long. The hawk landed on a branch of my maple tree where it had a great view of all the feeders in the yard. Fortunately for my feeder birds they are used to the hawks visits and are quick to leave whenever the Hawk is sighed by on of the crew. The Cooper’s Hawk (and and occasional Sharpie) are rarely successful in my yard but they visit anyway.
