Description

A recent winter storm brought a flock of cedar waxwings to my flowering crabapple trees. Normally they would never allow me to get so close, but survival instincts perhaps reduced some inhibitions toward me and my camera. I was able to stand to within 6 feet from the tree and watch them feed. My favorite winter birds here in Bend, Oregon.

Species

Crabapple Shooter
