Description

I throw wild bird feed out on the ground for the quial and doves in the late afternoon since they can’t all fit on my feeder. There has been a cooper’s hawk and kestrel in the area, which has put them on high alert lately, and has made them very spooky. Right after the first of the year I decided to build a blind out of our Christmas tree next to a bush where I feed them to get some closer pictures and at there level, so I have to lay on my belly to take pictures. This is a shot I took the other day right as they were starting to spook.
