I am a very new beginner, below amateur photographer. This is a by chance photo. I was standing at my living room window when I saw this green heron fly in. I ran to retrieve my camera and this is the best shot I could manage. I am still elated I got this shot. I have a huge pond as my front yard and I am blessed to see all kinds of birds and wildlife. It’s not the quality of the picture, it’s the excitement of the moment.
