Description

My backyard has recently become part of the territory of a mated pair of red-tailed hawks. The smaller birds who previously occupied this territory have resorted to mobbing the hawk(s) for spending too much time here. This mockingbird, however, is especially fierce and he makes quite the nuisance of himself. He will even form a mob of one, so to speak, as this picture shows. So far, the hawks have just ignored him.
