I believe this is a Leucistic Mourning Dove. Seen at our bird feeder since Christmas Eve day. We usually have about four doves show up. But have had anywhere from 15 to 25 of them at one time. Have seen one other with the white spots.
Is turtle dove the same as mourning dove or a separate species?
Turtle Dove is a nickname for Mourning Dove.
