One early spring day while visiting the Finley National Wildlife Refuge, we were treated to a dazzling display of choreography, courtesy of thousands of western sandpipers. The sky was literally alive with sandpipers as they swarmed, twisted, and turned in unison for well over thirty minutes. It was truly an amazing spectacle!
