We put peanuts on strings for clever Blue Jays to eat. The idea is that the Blue Jays will pull the string up with their beaks to get the peanut. This Blue Jay was out-smarted by an enterprising Downy Woodpecker. The Blue Jay doesn’t seem impressed!
