Description

This beautiful goldfinch bumped my window after a snow plow passed by. I picked in up and went into the garage where it was warmer and held him in my gloved hands to warm him up. After about 5 minutes he sat on my finger so I slowly moved outside. He sat there for maybe another five minutes I was able to pet him a few times, and was gently talking to him. He walked up to my shoulder and then to the top of my head and flew to a nearby tree. It was the most amazing thing. I was so happy he was alright.
