Description

I live and teach in Atlanta, but every December we travel to Florida for a bird-watching holiday. We arrived at Ding Darling during low tide (10:21 a.m. on this morning) and were treated to a feast of birds feeding–white pelicans, all varieties of herons and egrets, osprey, ibis, greater yellowlegs, and of course the glorious roseate spoonbills.
