Description

I was sitting at the picnic table gazing off into space when one of our resident sapsuckers came to check on the holes he had previously drilled near the base of a maple tree. He stayed there for quite a while happily sucking up sap, while I madly snapped pictures, trying to capture an image when he paused for breath.
