Description

I awoke one Friday morning to a fresh dusting of snow and about 50 starlings making a racket in the backyard! I yelled at them saying, “Quit eating all the food!!” I walked away from the window annoyed. Not five minutes later I looked out the window again. Silence had fallen over the yard. A Cooper’s Hawk sat on my fence with a freshly caught Starling. I guess he heard me! He sat there for over an hour eating his meal and soaking in the sun when he was done!
