While bats are actually mammals I hope that I can still enter this. The Saguaro fruit bat is a nectar feeder.Dozens hit our hummingbird feeders for two weeks in late August as they migrate to thier winter home.The bat is responsible for pollinating the saguaro cactus .Taking the shot is crazy fun as the bats swoop and dive all around our heads.Not once have any bats run in to us or our patio.I love when they visit and can always tell they are here when the feeder is emptied in one night.
