A delightful surprise in the Rocky Mountain winter-time! usually seen here in spring and summer, a flock of Evening Grosbeaks flew in for a dip after a snow storm. It was 0 when they started to bathe!
Week 13: The Unexpected
Evening Grosbeaks taking a bath in 0 degree weather. Usually summer visitors, this was the first time seeing them in the Rocky Mountains in winter!
