A tornado of Vaux's swifts enters the chimney of the old hotel in Lebanon, OR.
If an existing chimney opening is blocked off for construction purposes for the replacement of an existing roof for Swift nesting in one season will the Swift return the following year to the same location and nest if it is made available to the Swift ? Does an alternate Swift chimney need to be built near the existing structure under construction ?
