Description

Rarely do I see cedar waxwings or even Bohemian waxwings near my backyard feeder, much less the bird bath. However, one cold day a couple of winters ago, waxwings filled the bird bath to quench their thirst with some of the ice water. It seemed as if the Bohemian waxwing was in charge, giving lessons to the cedar waxwings on how to drink ice water! Do the birds ever appreciate it when I refresh the bird bath with running water!
