Colorado Springs, CO
This was taken along a fence rail at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. It was the first time I have even been to the state, and it was a great place to find unique species there. These Western Scrub-Jay’s were quite abundant (and loud!), and cooperated for some decent shots. Along the beautiful red cliffs in the park I also saw white-throated swifts and a prairie falcon. It was a very memorable trip.
