A small flock of American Goldfinches stopped to feed on the leftovers of the sunflowers. The birds spread the sunflower seeds from the feeders all around the property and then the next year I have an abundance of sunflowers which in turn feeds the birds later in the year. Enjoyable to watch the cycle unfold.
