American Golden-Plover. After a fierce storm on October 29, 2015 with high winds, heavy rain and astronomical high tide the normally calm Sandy Point Beach in Sandy Point, Maine had few birds feeding on the shore. This beautiful & solitary American Golden- Plover was determined to find food despite crashing waves.
