Description

This bird is unusual out west, but an open space area in Larimer County has spotting this American Woodcock the last couple of years in a stream near the ranger’s house. While it is bitter cold this winter, in the teens, the bird is fairly active and not shy. It will skitter off when you come across it, but never strays far.
