Description

We were at the refuge to see the green jays that it is famous for and were watching at a drip water station when these three just hatched Chachalacas came for their first drink at the drip watering station. They still had their egg tooth attached to their bills. Momma was carefully watching from the bushes. These three were certainly more interesting than the loud green jays.

What a wonderful picture. By itself it tells a little story, making it so interesting. Thank you!

Cute fuzzy little ones! I love how you captured them in a row but each in a different stage of drinking.
